There are a few random thoughts on my mind. Haha.
A friend told me earlier this week that there was this bird standing in the rain. He said maybe the bird was waiting for his parents. How will our lives be without our parents? I cant imagine actually. We hardly have time for them or sometimes even ask them "How's the day like?". MOst of the time we raise our voices when we feel irritated by them. It seems like we are independent kids. But somehow I think we do rely on them, a lot, and deep inside we are indeed concerned for them. I dont think by saying "I love you" or all sorts of mushy stuff does show how we really love them, but somehow, maybe in our little actions everyday, it will matter a lot to our parents (: Haha, dont know why I was thinking about this, but ya, haha, something random, but actually not very, to ponder about.
Then another..
Was on 74 this morning and I heard this song on my mp3, "Five For Fighting - 100 Years". Long time since I heard it. But anyway, ya, first heard this song 2 years back, around the same time. It was during the Mass that SN held, to pray for good luck and health during the Olevels. It was a very moving event, because I remembered when our Vice principal, Mrs Goh, started to talk, almost every student started to cry. I guess it was the impact she had on our entire cohort. She had done so much for us and we cannot ask for more. We were really blessed that Mrs Goh was transferred back to SN from Cedar Girls', where she was their Vp too. (Previously she was a history teacher in SN) From all the scoldings to all the concern she showed us...I think it really made a great diference to how Class of 2005 turned out. Haha, ya, she's probably the only person that I felt is so influential and brought a great positive change to people around her.
Ok, this is not going to be very random. Haha.
OWEN scored 2 goals and assisted in the 3rd or England! Papa bought newpaper and I liked the way this journalist ended his article.
"The long road back to fitness was an arduous one. His is a story of determination and bravery. One suspects that Owen wasn't out there to prove himself to his doubters.
Perhaps all he wanted was to play football again. By doing what he did this morning, he showed that when the mind is willing, sometimes even the greatest obstacle can be overcome."
All he wanted was to play football again. Sounds familiar my friends? Haha
